Fort Rock Tactical isn't your average tactical company.

Fort Rock is a division of DePaul Industries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Portland, Oregon. Our tactical tools are offered through the AbilityOne program, and assembled with pride by people with disabilities and veterans with disabilities.

We are proud to provide American troops around the world and law enforcement officials with best-in-class, reliable and 100% made-in-the-USA tactical tools. And your purchases make a real difference in the lives of our employees and their families.

How did we get our name?

Our parent organization, DePaul Industries, was founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1971, and has its headquarters and multiple offices in Oregon. We wanted a name that represented this sense of place, and reflected the end use of our tactical tools by various branches of the United States Armed Forces. Fort Rock, a volcanic landmark known as a tuff ring located in central Oregon, brought together these two themes and served as the inspiration for our logo.
